Products
Dedicated to the Highest Quality
High standards of integrity are fundamental to the way we execute all aspects of our business, this in effect guides our technicians and operators to monitor closely the material and production line in all aspects in order to produce high quality products.
Clinker
Appear as lumps or nodules, usually 3 millimetres (0.12 in) to 25 millimetres (0.98 in) in diameter, produced by sintering (fused together without melting to the point of liquefaction) limestone and alumino-silicate materials such as clay during the cement kiln stage.
Portland Cement
Common type of powdery cementitious building material made from finely pulverized alumina, iron oxide, lime, magnesia, and silica burnt together in a kiln.
Cement type 1-425
Portland cement type 1-425 is usually used in conditions that have low sulfate such as the General construction of most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast units, etc.
Classification
General Purpose
Characteristics
Fairly High C, S Content for Good Early Strength
Applications
General Construction (Most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast units, etc.)
Cement type 1-525
Portland cement type 1-525 is usually used in conditions that have low sulfate such as the General construction of most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast units, etc.
Classification
General Purpose
Characteristics
Fairly High C, S Content for Good Early Strength
Applications
General Construction (Most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast units, etc.)
Cement Type 2
Portland cement type 2 is usually used in places where there is water underground or a high percentage of sulfate and so is designed to be resistant to sulfate attack because the sulfate creates stresses which force the concrete to expand and crack.
Classification
Moderate Sulfate Resistance
Characteristics
Low C,A Content (<8%)
Applications
Structures exposed to soil or water containing sulfate ions
Clinker
Cement clinker is a solid material produced in the manufacture of Portland cement as an intermediary product.
Classification
General Purpose
Characteristics
The major constituents are calcium carbonate, clays, shales, quartz and sulfate salts. The following materials may also be present: dolomite, Ca(OH)2, feldspars, CaSO4, fly ash, KCl, iron oxides, K2CO3, CaF2, K2SO4, CaO, Na2SO4 and glasses of SiO2.
Applications
Portland cement clinker is ground to a fine powder and used as the binder in many cement products.
